Conduct Forklift Operations

  • The TLILIC0003 course provides comprehensive training for obtaining a forklift truck license. Participants will learn to operate forklifts safely and efficiently in various environments, including warehouses and construction sites. The course covers pre-operational checks, operational techniques, load handling, safety protocols, and basic maintenance. Successful completion of this course enables participants to apply for a forklift truck license.

    • Must have good verbal and written comprehension of the English language.

    • A general understanding of workplace health and safety (such as a White Card) is recommended.

    • Must hold a USI (unique student identifier) number.

    • Must wear long sleeved shirt, long leg pants and steel cap boots.

    • No specific prior experience with roller equipment is required, but familiarity with heavy machinery is beneficial.

  • 1 to 2 day course (depending on experience)

    • The course includes both theoretical classroom instruction and practical, hands-on training.

    • Participants will engage in operational exercises with forklift trucks and undergo assessments to ensure competency.
